Milwaukee won the first two games at American Family Field, 3–2 on Friday and 5–4 on Saturday.12 The Brewers then won 10–1 at Tropicana Field on Monday.3 In our October 16 preview, written before the AL pennant was decided, BBMI gave the Brewers a 52% chance against Tampa Bay. Three wins later, that figure is 95%.
We reran the same simulation from the current Series state. Each simulated series starts at 3–0 in Game 4, uses both clubs’ World Series rosters and carries forward every pitcher’s workload from the first three games. Bracket Pulse, BBMI’s daily playoff tracker, also has Milwaukee at 95%.

All percentages are Milwaukee win probabilities. Games 5–7 are played only if necessary. Griffin Jax is Tampa Bay’s announced Game 4 starter; every other starter is projected. Orange dots are the October 16 preview’s figures for the same game number, which had different projected starters.
Game 4 is Tampa Bay’s best chance
Tonight’s game is the only one left in which BBMI favors the Rays. Milwaukee’s win probability is 44%, with Griffin Jax announced for Tampa Bay. The Brewers had not named a starter when we ran the forecast, so the simulation uses Dustin May, who pitched an inning of relief in Game 2. In the preview, Game 4 was Kyle Harrison against Jax at 49%.
Both bullpens are short one reliever tonight under the simulation’s rest rule, which sits anyone who recorded more than three outs the day before. Antonio Senzatela pitched two innings for Milwaukee on Monday and Cole Sulser pitched 1⅓ for Tampa Bay.3
Tampa Bay needs four in a row
To win the Series, the Rays have to win Games 4 and 5 at home on consecutive nights, then Games 6 and 7 in Milwaukee. BBMI gives them 56%, 44%, 49% and 44% in those games. Multiplied together, that is 5%.

The rotations have also moved since the preview. Tampa Bay started Nick Martinez in Game 1 and Drew Rasmussen in Game 2, the reverse of our projection, and Milwaukee started Robert Gasser rather than May in Game 3.123 That changes the later matchups. Jacob Misiorowski now lines up against Martinez in Game 5 (56% for Milwaukee) rather than Rasmussen (48% in the preview), and Rasmussen would face Logan Henderson in Game 6 (51%).
Forecast notes
This update reruns the October 16 BBMI World Series model from the current Series state, using games through October 26 and both clubs’ Game 3 rosters. Games 1–3 are entered as played. Each pitcher’s actual outs in those games feed the bullpen rest rule. Jax is announced for Game 4; Milwaukee’s Game 4 starter and both clubs’ starters for Games 5–7 are projected on a four-man rotation.

The run uses 60,000 simulated series across three seeds. Game probabilities are calibrated and combined to produce the series forecast, with the same calibration as the preview: it was fit on 2,421 regular-season games from 2025 and has not been validated on postseason series. Bullpen order is redrawn each game; availability rules rest relievers after more than three outs, prevent three consecutive pitching days and retain at least five arms. These are simulation rules, not predictions of a manager’s exact decisions.
