BBMI Rankings.
Wisconsin high school boys basketball, rated within each WIAA division. The BBMI score is a rating relative to an average team in the same division — cross-division comparisons aren’t meaningful, since schedules rarely overlap.

How WIAA rankings are built
Within-division only. WIAA splits schools into five divisions by enrollment, and they rarely cross over during the regular season. A statewide ranking would compare teams that never play, so ratings are computed inside each division.
Margin and opponent quality. The rating blends scoring margin with the strength of conference opponents faced — the same approach as the college model.
Wider error bars. Prep stats are self-reported and inconsistent, so the WIAA model carries more uncertainty than the college versions. Only games against WIAA member schools count toward records.
