The single-elimination bracket for each sectional, Regional Quarterfinal through the Sectional Final and the trip to State at the Kohl Center. Four sectional champions per division meet in Madison, and because a school plays where its enrollment puts it, the five tournaments never meet and there is no single state champion. All five 2026 titles are decided, so this page shows the brackets as they were played.
Each sectional is single elimination: Regional Quarterfinal, Regional Semifinal, Regional Final, Sectional Semifinal, Sectional Final, with the winner advancing to the four-team State tournament. Every program enters, so there is no selection and no bubble; the question is never whether a team is in but how far it goes. There are no percentages on this page, deliberately. The eight round columns in these files are a finished season: every division has a champion at exactly 1.0, and 266 of the 3,864 published values sit strictly between 0 and 1, stale odds left on programs whose seasons ended in March. Reading those as forecasts would show a live number beside a settled bracket, so each flag is used only for what it is: this program reached this round. Two pairings are not published anywhere and both were checked against the record before being drawn, the sectional semifinal and the State semifinal; the notes beneath each say which.

The top seeds in a region carry a first-round bye, which is why the quarterfinal column is shorter than the one beside it. The sectional semifinal pairs the four regional-final winners, first two against each other and last two against each other; that ordering is the bracket’s, and it agrees with the recorded finalists in all 20 sectionals.
